Andy Williams, known professionally as ‘The Butcher’, has died at age 48 following a medical emergency during a wrestling match in Millvale, Pennsylvania. The incident occurred on September 5 during an Enjoy Wrestling event at Mr. Smalls Theatre. Williams, who was competing in a tag-team match alongside his longtime partner Jesse ‘The Blade’ Guilmette, collapsed at the conclusion of the bout.

Medical personnel on-site immediately performed CPR and used a defibrillator before Williams was transported to a local hospital. The Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed his death. While a specific cause of death has not been officially announced, reports indicated he may have suffered a head injury during the match.

Williams maintained a prominent dual career as both a professional wrestler and a musician. He was a founding member and guitarist for the influential metalcore band Every Time I Die and had recently been involved with the musical project Atomic Rule. In the wrestling industry, he was widely recognized for his work with All Elite Wrestling (AEW). Following the news, AEW and various members of the wrestling and music communities issued tributes to honor his legacy.
