WWE NXT: Kelani Jordan and Jackson Drake retain championships

In the September 8 episode of WWE NXT, Kelani Jordan successfully defended her NXT Women’s Championship against Jaida Parker. Following the match, Wren Sinclair launched a post-match attack on Jordan using a kendo stick and also struck a referee. Consequently, NXT General Manager Robert Stone suspended Sinclair.

In the North American Championship match, Jackson Drake retained his title against Tavion Heights after executing a 450 Splash. The match was marked by tension involving Myles Borne, who appeared following the bout.

In the main event, a six-man tag team match saw Tony D’Angelo, Mason Rook, and Saquon Shugars defeat Cruz Montana, EK Prosper, and Keanu Carver. This victory qualifies the trio for a triple-threat match next week to determine the number one contender for Grayson Waller’s NXT Championship.

Other notable developments included the return of the Creed Brothers and an attack on Zilla Fatu by the Birthright faction after he refused to join the group.
