WWE NXT ratings plunge as MLB All-Star Game dominates TV

WWE NXT's broadcast on The CW averaged 531,000 viewers and a 0.05 rating in the 18‑49 demographic, marking a 23% decline in total viewers and a 58% drop in the key demo compared with the previous week. The episode recorded the lowest audience since May and the lowest rating since the program left the WWE Network in 2019.

The dip occurred because the show aired opposite the MLB All-Star Game, which attracted 8.675 million viewers and a 1.83 rating in the 18‑49 demo. NXT’s viewership fell to a low of 488,000 during the peak of the baseball coverage before recovering to an average of 545,000 in the second hour. Over the past year, overall NXT viewership is down 9.4% year‑over‑year and the 18‑49 demo is down 58% compared with the same week in 2025, with a cumulative 8% decline in total viewers since July 2025.
