WWE proceeds with Riyadh events despite security concerns

Tickets have been released for the WWE Crown Jewel event, scheduled for November 7, 2026, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. General Entertainment Authority (GEA) Chairman Turki Al-Sheikh announced the release as part of the seventh edition of Riyadh Season, an initiative under Saudi Vision 2030 aimed at establishing the capital as a global entertainment hub.

Despite the event's progression, WWE is reportedly facing challenges regarding security concerns and a U.S. State Department travel advisory. The advisory suggests Americans reconsider travel to Saudi Arabia due to risks including potential missile attacks, terrorism, and local laws.

WWE is expected to proceed with both Crown Jewel and WrestleMania 43 in the region due to significant projected revenues, with Crown Jewel estimated at $60 million and WrestleMania potentially exceeding $100 million. Reports suggest the company may delay any decisions regarding a potential withdrawal until the latest possible moment to protect quarterly revenue.
