Carmelo Hayes joins The 946 faction during WWE RAW return

Carmelo Hayes made a surprise return to WWE television during the October 12 episode of Monday Night Raw, officially joining the faction The 946. After an absence of nearly two months following a loss to Baron Corbin, Hayes appeared as a masked individual during a six-man tag team main event involving The 946 and The Bloodline.

The match, which featured Royce Keys, Bronco Nima, and Lucien Price against Solo Sikoa and The Usos, ended in a no-contest after Hayes attacked Sikoa with a crowbar. Hayes then joined other members of The 946, including Jaida Parker, in a brutal assault on The Bloodline to close the broadcast.

Reports indicate that the move was planned, with Royce Keys reportedly requesting Hayes' inclusion in the group. The addition of Hayes strengthens The 946's presence on the red brand and escalates their ongoing rivalry with The Bloodline. Other notable results from the episode included Chad Gable retaining the Intercontinental Championship against Rey Fenix and Bron Breakker attacking an injured Je’Von Evans.
