WWE RAW to start earlier for double taping in Ottawa

WWE has announced a schedule change for next week's episode of RAW, which will begin at 6:00 PM ET instead of its usual 8:00 PM ET start time. The earlier start is due to a double taping session scheduled at the Canadian Tire Centre in Ottawa, Ontario.

Following the RAW broadcast, WWE plans to tape the August 28 episode of SmackDown. This is part of a series of double tapings designed to provide wrestlers and production staff with time off following a busy summer schedule and ahead of an upcoming tour in South America.

A second double taping is scheduled for August 28 at Rocket Arena in Cleveland, Ohio, where the company will record the August 31 episode of RAW and the September 4 episode of SmackDown. The regular broadcast schedule is expected to resume in September.
