WWE registers trademarks for action‑figure and video‑game brands

On July 27, World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) filed multiple trademark applications with the United States Patent and Trademark Office. The applications cover the terms “WWE Championship Gold,” “WWE Lock It In,” “WWE Scratchcard,” and “AWA.”

The filings list a wide range of goods, including toys such as action figures, playsets, collectible championship belts, and related accessories, as well as video‑game software for mobile, online and other platforms. WWE previously acquired the AWA name and its historic assets in the early 2000s, and the new filings extend its branding into both physical merchandise and digital gaming products.
