WWE reportedly shifts focus toward Mexican talent following Penta success

WWE is reportedly increasing its interest in elevating Mexican wrestlers following the recent success of Penta. The shift in strategy follows a high-profile match in Mexico City between Penta and Roman Reigns, which reportedly drew the second-highest worldwide television ratings for RAW this year.

Penta has recently secured significant momentum within the promotion, including winning the 2026 Men’s Money in the Bank briefcase. Industry analysts suggest that the high viewership numbers from international matches have demonstrated the commercial value of placing Mexican stars in prominent, championship-level positions to attract key demographics.
