WWE SummerSlam 2026 ticket sales fall short of expectations

WWE officials have been discussing the lagging ticket sales for SummerSlam 2026 for several weeks. WrestleTix reported that 22,069 tickets were sold for Night 1 and 23,809 for Night 2, well below the capacity of U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, which can hold up to about 67,000 fans per night. Both nights are priced at $84 with a 25 percent discount, yet the numbers have not improved, prompting internal concern within WWE’s Stamford offices.

The two‑night event is scheduled for August 1‑2, 2026 at the stadium and will feature matches such as CM Punk vs. Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship, Roman Reigns vs. Seth Rollins for the World Heavyweight Championship, Liv Morgan vs. Iyo Sky for the Women’s World Championship, Oba Femi vs. Brock Lesnar in a Hell in a Cell, and an Intercontinental title defense by Penta against a gauntlet‑match winner.

In Italy, SummerSlam will be streamed live on Netflix, allowing subscribers to watch the shows without a separate pay‑per‑view purchase.
