WWE Signs Big Cass for Return After AEW Stint

Professional wrestler William Morrissey, known as Big Cass, has announced that his contract with All Elite Wrestling expires next week and he will leave the promotion. Fightful reports he is set to re‑sign with WWE, the company that released him in 2018 following disciplinary issues. Morrissey’s return could be paired with longtime partner Enzo Amore, who has also been in talks with WWE and was seen training at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando.

Morrissey previously worked for Impact Wrestling and held the AEW World Tag Team Championship with Ricky Starks. He has spoken publicly about overcoming alcohol addiction and credits Diamond Dallas Page for helping him seek sobriety. The planned WWE return is expected to place both wrestlers in the NXT brand, though details remain pending.
