WWE SmackDown announces new tag team matches and title defense

WWE SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis has announced several upcoming matches for the program. Shinsuke Nakamura and Kyoki, performing as the duo Bakusai, will make their first televised tag team appearance next week against The Miz and Kit Wilson.

Additionally, the War Raiders are scheduled to defend the AAA World Tag Team Championships against Damian Priest and R-Truth on the September 11 edition of SmackDown. The match will take place at Arena Mexico in Mexico City. The booking follows tension between Priest and R-Truth, as Priest indicated a desire to move on from the tag team division to focus on singles competition after losing the WWE Tag Team Championships.

The War Raiders have held the AAA World Tag Team titles for 91 days, having won them from Pagano and Psycho Clown in May.
