WWE SmackDown: CM Punk qualifies for Money in the Bank

During the September 25th episode of WWE SmackDown held at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, CM Punk secured a spot in the upcoming Money in the Bank ladder match. Punk won a triple-threat qualifying match against Gunther and Finn Bálor.

The episode, internally titled ‘Friday Night Fever’, featured several high-profile matches and segments. Trick Williams defended the WWE United States Championship against Baron Corbin in a Steel Cage Match, while Charlotte Flair, Giulia, and Lash Legend competed in a Women’s Money in the Bank Qualifying Match. Additionally, a 6-woman tag team match saw Tiffany Stratton, Chelsea Green, and Paige face Fatal Influence.

Reports indicate that various producers were assigned to the segments, including Michael Hayes and Bobby Roode for the men’s qualifying match, and TJ Wilson and Kenny Dykstra for the women’s qualifying match. A scheduled dark match for Je’Von Evans was replaced by Danhausen.
