WWE SmackDown completes Money in the Bank qualifying fields
WWE SmackDown, held at Ball Arena in Denver, completed the qualifying fields for the 2026 Money in the Bank ladder matches.
In the women’s division, Tiffany Stratton secured the final spot by defeating Candice LeRae and Tatum Paxley in a triple threat match. Stratton joins Sol Ruca, Roxanne Perez, Lash Legend, Lola Vice, and Jacy Jayne in the upcoming ladder match.
In the men’s division, Kevin Owens earned the last qualifying position after a triple threat match involving Cody Rhodes and Johnny Gargano. The outcome was heavily influenced by Randy Orton, who intervened by pulling the referee out of the ring to prevent Rhodes from securing a pinfall. This allowed Owens to capitalize and win. Owens joins Bron Breakker, Je’Von Evans, Trick Williams, Penta, and CM Punk for the event in New Orleans.
Other notable developments included Blake Monroe’s in-ring debut with a victory over Giulia and a backstage confrontation between Paige and Nikki Bella, which resulted in a scheduled singles match for the October 16 episode of SmackDown.
