WWE SmackDown sees sub‑million audience and rolls out June 19 card ahead of Saudi Night of Champions

The June 12 episode of WWE SmackDown recorded an average audience of 1.04 million viewers in the United States, dropping 5 % from the prior week and falling below the million‑viewer mark for the first time since January 2026. The decline was attributed in part to competition from the FIFA World Cup match broadcast on FOX.

WWE announced that the June 19 edition will be staged live from the T‑Mobile Center in Kansas City, Missouri. The show will feature an Undisputed WWE Championship match between Cody Rhodes and Gunther with Sami Zayn as special guest referee, a Queen of the Ring semi‑final between Charlotte Flair and Liv Morgan, a U.S. Title contender bout between Carmelo Hayes and Ricky Saints, and a Tag Team title defense by R‑Truth and Damian Priest against the MFT. These matches set the stage for the Night of Champions pay‑per‑view scheduled for June 27 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
