WWE Star Chelsea Green Returns to SummerSlam After Life‑Saving Heart Surgery

Chelsea Green, a prominent WWE performer, was diagnosed with supraventricular tachycardia after her heart rate spiked to 228 beats per minute during WrestleMania week. The condition, which had been hard to capture on an EKG, was confirmed and she underwent corrective heart surgery within days. Green says the operation was successful but the experience left emotional challenges, as doctors had to provoke the arrhythmia during the procedure to verify the fix.

A few months later Green is back on the WWE roster, scheduled to appear at SummerSlam, and received public praise from Triple H for her recovery. Her husband, fellow WWE talent Matt Cardona, also remarked publicly on their life together, describing Green as his “best friend” and making a cheeky comment about seeing her naked daily. Both athletes are currently part of WWE's SmackDown brand.
