WWE star Finn Balor questions his career amid family separation

Finn Balor appeared on Stephanie McMahon’s “What’s Your Story?” podcast to discuss the personal toll of his wrestling career. He explained that after achieving his dream of winning the Universal Championship and attaining financial security, he increasingly feels the strain of being away from his family, who live in Ireland, while he works in the United States. Balor said, “I have my dream and I don’t need any more money, success, or attention—so why am I doing it?”

He also noted that his wife, journalist Vero Rodríguez, is separated from her own family in Mexico while pursuing her career in the U.S. When McMahon suggested he relocate to Mexico to join AAA, Balor reiterated his desire to remain in WWE, aiming to compete at marquee events such as WrestleMania.
