Liv Morgan's injury concerns, tournament run and stalker case update

WWE's Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan may have suffered an ankle injury after a splash during a Fatal 4‑Way match at a live event in Birmingham. Although she finished the bout and returned backstage with the help of her partners, she was seen limping and her condition was described as “concerning” ahead of the upcoming Night of Champions.

Earlier in the week, Morgan secured her place in the Queen of the Ring finals by defeating Charlotte Flair on SmackDown, setting up a clash with IYO SKY at Night of Champions. The tournament winner will earn a championship opportunity at SummerSlam, reinforcing WWE’s investment in Morgan as a top‑tier talent.

In an interview with the Toronto Sun, Morgan said she constantly “cranks it up to 11,” emphasizing her drive to exceed expectations and recalling the physical intensity of her recent feud with Stephanie Vaquer.

Separately, the legal case involving Morgan’s stalker, Shawn Chan, concluded with a verdict of not guilty by reason of insanity. Chan is being held by the Department of Homeland Security in Florida pending deportation, ending the immediate threat to the wrestler.
