WWE stars Rhea Ripley and Simone Johnson update fans on injury recoveries
WWE performers Rhea Ripley and Simone Johnson have provided updates regarding their physical health and future in professional wrestling.
Rhea Ripley is recovering from a meniscus tear that required surgery in August. While a recent video showed her walking normally, Ripley cautioned fans against expecting an immediate return to the ring, stating that walking and wrestling are very different activities. Due to her absence, WWE established an interim championship, currently held by Chelsea Green, which Ripley is expected to unify upon her return.
Simone Johnson, also known as Ava, expressed her desire to continue her wrestling career despite recent departures from WWE. During an appearance on ‘What Do You Wanna Talk About?’ with Cody Rhodes, Johnson noted that while she is currently pursuing new professional ventures, she does not consider her career over. However, she must first address various injuries that caused significant pain and hindered her ability to train during her final months with the company.
