WWE stars Rusev and Carmelo Hayes mark major milestones

WWE wrestler Rusev made his return to the ring on October 16, 2026, at a live house show in Honolulu, Hawaii. Competing at the Neal S. Blaisdell Arena, Rusev faced Joe Hendry but ultimately suffered a defeat. This appearance marks his first match since July 27, when an injury during a bout against Je’Von Evans forced him into a multi-week hiatus. His wife, CJ Perry, clarified that Rusev’s rapid departure from the ring following the match was due to intense pain and the need for medical attention, rather than a protest over the loss.

In personal news, WWE wrestlers Carmelo Hayes and Kelani Jordan were married in Miami, Florida, on October 17, 2026. The couple, who began dating in 2023, had previously announced their engagement in July 2025 in Maui, Hawaii. Hayes recently also made a return to WWE television on Monday Night Raw.
