WWE RAW wrestler Rusev and CJ Perry have announced they are expecting their first child following a journey with in vitro fertilization (IVF). The couple revealed that the pregnancy was a factor in Rusev taking recent time away from WWE television.
Perry shared details regarding the emotional challenges of the IVF process, noting the uncertainty involved in embryo development and genetic testing. She described the experience as a series of hurdles, stating that their first embryo to return normal genetic testing results was a boy, who was subsequently transferred.
In a recent appearance on TMZ’s Inside the Ring, the couple discussed the news and mentioned that Liv Morgan has offered to be the baby’s godmother. Rusev joked about receiving various offers for the role, comparing the interest to a movie deal.
