WWE stars seek opportunities in AAA, according to Corey Graves

WWE commentator Corey Graves has indicated that several main-roster superstars are eager to compete in AAA, noting that the partnership provides non-linear career paths for talent. Graves highlighted that wrestlers can now use AAA as an avenue to showcase abilities outside of the standard Raw and SmackDown environments.

Graves cited Dragon Lee as a successful example, stating that Lee’s performance in AAA helped catch the attention of WWE officials and led to increased opportunities on WWE television. Additionally, Graves mentioned that former World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest was impressed by the passion of the AAA fanbase following a recent appearance.

Graves also recounted his experience calling a match at AAA Noche de Los Grandes from a conference room in Italy at 4:00 a.m., describing the event as a magical moment in lucha libre history.
