WWE has officially stripped Rhea Ripley of the WWE Women's Championship and recognized Chelsea Green as the undisputed champion. This change follows Ripley's inability to defend the title due to an injury that required surgery.

Previously, WWE had maintained Ripley as the champion while introducing an interim title. Chelsea Green won the interim championship in a ladder match at SummerSlam. Although Green later suffered an orbital bone injury, the company incorporated her recovery into the storyline. WWE has now updated its official records to remove the 'interim' designation from Green, naming her the official WWE Women's Champion and removing Ripley from the championship listings.
