WWE Superstar Rusev provides update on injury and return status

WWE Superstar Rusev has revealed that he has been medically cleared and ready to return to television for approximately two months. His absence from Monday Night RAW follows a July 27 match against Je’Von Evans, during which he sustained an injury after being kicked in the head. Rusev reported experiencing numbness in his hands during the bout, though he finished the match before subsequently falling ill.

Rusev stated that he does not believe the illness was related to the head injury. While awaiting a television return, he has been training at NXT and his wrestling school, Kech Academy, in Nashville. He recently participated in sold-out live events in Hawaii, marking his first in-ring competition in nearly three months.

Addressing rumors regarding a potential new WWE faction alongside Ethan Page and Big Cass, Rusev stated he has received no such information from the company. He characterized the reports as “internet booking” and expressed uncertainty about participating in such a group.
