WWE-UFC Merger Lawsuit Settles for $147.5 Million, Vince McMahon Contributes $42.5 Million
The merger lawsuit involving WWE and UFC was resolved with a total settlement of $147.5 million. Former WWE chairman Vince McMahon and his insurers agreed to pay $42.5 million, while WWE will cover $105 million. The full amount was disclosed in a filing to the Delaware Court of Chancery on August 7, 2026 after shareholders complained that earlier disclosures had omitted the complete figure. Plaintiffs also claimed the merger terms favored McMahon and TKO Group Holdings president Ari Emanuel. The settlement ends the dispute that had delayed the case, with Vice Chancellor J. Travis Laster presiding over the proceedings.
