WWE WrestleMania 42 ticket sales and revenue decline in Las Vegas
WrestleMania 42, held at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on April 18 and 19, saw a significant decrease in both ticket sales and revenue compared to the previous year. According to data from Pollstar and Wrestlenomics, the two-night event generated $36,000,093 in ticket revenue and sold 90,373 tickets.
This represents a 20% drop in tickets sold and a 45.5% decline in gate revenue compared to WrestleMania 41 in 2025, which generated $66,074,558 from 113,412 tickets at the same venue. Night One, headlined by Cody Rhodes vs. Randy Orton, brought in $17,441,679, while Night Two, featuring CM Punk vs. Roman Reigns, generated $18,558,414.
The decline follows WWE's decision to return to Las Vegas for a second consecutive year after originally planning the event for New Orleans. While the company received a $6 million site fee from the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority and $4.3 million in tax credits, WWE executive Nick Khan noted in an internal call that the decision to host back-to-back events in the same city might not be repeated. Despite the year-over-year drop, when adjusted for inflation, the second night of WrestleMania 42 remains the sixth highest-grossing gate in the event's history.
