WWE wrestlers discuss contract offers and career autonomy

Former WWE wrestler Zoey Stark revealed that she received simultaneous contract offers from both WWE and TNA when she began her career. Stark, who competed in WWE from 2021 until her release in April, stated that she chose the Stamford-based promotion at the time because she viewed it as the better option.

In a separate discussion regarding career autonomy, WWE wrestler Natalya credited current executives Nick Khan and Triple H for allowing her to pursue opportunities outside of the company. She noted that under previous leadership, specifically Vince McMahon, she would not have been permitted to participate in independent promotions such as Bloodsport, GCW, or NWA. Natalya expressed that the current management encourages her to ‘spread your wings’ and engage in projects that foster personal growth.
