Brie Bella Out Indefinitely After Broken Scapula at WWE SummerSlam

WWE Hall of Famer Brie Bella announced on Instagram that she suffered a broken right scapula during the six‑woman tag match on Night 1 of SummerSlam, where she teamed with sister Nikki Bella and Paige against Fatal Influence. The injury occurred when opponent Jacy Jayne’s move drove Bella’s shoulder into the steel steps, after which she continued the bout despite severe pain. Officials considered stopping the match, but Bella insisted on staying in to allow Nikki to execute the planned hot tag.

After the match, Bella was taken to a local hospital for evaluation. WWE chief content officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque said the injury “seems pretty bad” and that scans were being performed.
