WWin Liga sees rising attendance and referee changes in Bosnia and Herzegovina
The WWin Liga of Bosnia and Herzegovina recently conducted referee training and physical testing at the FSBiH Training Centre in Zenica. The seminar focused on analyzing the current season and implementing new rules for the 2026/27 season. During the assessments, veteran referee Ermin Sivac did not appear for testing, signaling his departure from the Premier League. Sivac, who has officiated approximately 150 matches since joining the A-list in 2015, reportedly decided to retire following a controversial decision during a match between Široki Brijeg and Sarajevo.
In related league developments, attendance figures for the first eight rounds of the WWin Liga have shown a 6.24 percent increase compared to the previous season. The total attendance reached 137,447 spectators, averaging 3,436 per match. This growth is largely attributed to the return of NK Čelik to the top tier, with the club averaging 7,333 spectators at Bilino Polje. Other clubs seeing significant attendance growth include FK Sloga Doboj, which saw a 156.7 percent increase, and HŠK Zrinjski, which grew by 60.2 percent.
