WXV Global Series: Black Ferns and France prepare for key matchups

The 2026 WXV Global Series features upcoming high-profile matchups in women's international rugby. The Black Ferns have announced seven changes to their starting lineup for their upcoming match against Scotland. Head coach Whitney Hansen noted that while the campaign focuses on continuity, the fixture provides an opportunity for new talent, including potential Test debuts for Ngano Tavake and Maia Davis.

In France, the national team is scheduled to face Australia at the Maurice-David stadium in Aix-en-Provence on September 19, 2026. This match is part of a home series for France that includes fixtures against New Zealand in Lyon and Canada in La Rochelle, before the tournament continues in New Zealand in October. The WXV Global Series features 12 of the world's top women's rugby nations.
