Wybranowo: Woman injured by onion harvester

A 46-year-old woman was seriously injured in Wybranowo, near Inowrocław, when her leg was caught and crushed by an onion harvester during field work on Tuesday, September 15.

Emergency responders, including five fire brigade units, used hydraulic tools to free the woman from the machinery. Due to the severity of her injuries, she was airlifted by the Polish Medical Air Rescue (LPR) to a hospital in Bydgoszcz. Firefighters have issued an appeal to farmers to strictly follow safety protocols when operating heavy machinery.
