Wynn Al Marjan Island unveils beachfront ahead of 2027 opening
Wynn Al Marjan Island has unveiled its 550-metre beachfront, sheltered lagoon, and engineered offshore reef in Ras Al Khaimah. The development is part of the UAE’s first integrated gaming resort, which is scheduled to open in September 2027. Construction costs for the project have risen by $600 million, bringing the total estimated cost to approximately $5.7 billion.
The resort’s waterfront features three distinct environments: Resort Beach, Adult Beach, and Enclave Beach. To support marine biodiversity, an engineered reef has been installed offshore to foster coral and marine life growth.
The project is also driving significant activity in the local labor market. Wynn Al Marjan Island is currently ramping up recruitment, with over 100 positions listed across gaming, hospitality, food and beverage, and theatre operations. The resort added 57 employees during the second quarter of 2026, bringing its total workforce to 425. Recruitment specialists note that the project is increasing competition for talent in the Ras Al Khaimah hospitality sector, as professionals increasingly view the emirate as a viable alternative to Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
