Wynne Construction reports £325m order book as it celebrates centenary

Denbighshire‑based Wynne Construction, a family‑owned firm marking its centenary, announced an order book exceeding £325 million. The pipeline includes £228 million of work currently on site and a further £99 million of secured schemes in pre‑construction, giving the company visibility to 2030.

Projects span education, healthcare, housing, leisure, heritage and low‑carbon initiatives across Wales and the North West of England. Notable schemes are the £26 million Leisure and Wellbeing Centre in Newport, the £13 million Ty Haverfordia senior‑housing apartments in Pembrokeshire, the £31 million Aethwy Care residential home in Anglesey, the £11 million archive centre for Denbighshire and Flintshire councils, and the £4 million Maggie’s Centre in Liverpool for cancer patients. Additional announcements include an affordable‑homes programme in Bodelwyddan and school redevelopments in Denbighshire.

Managing director Chris Wynne said the strong order book supports confidence for the workforce and supply chain, enabling planning of resources, skills development and employment opportunities.
