Wyoming Cowboys defeat Hawaii Rainbow Warriors 27-10

The Wyoming Cowboys defeated the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors 27-10 in their conference opener at War Memorial Stadium. The victory occurred during Homecoming and served as a critical turnaround for the team, which had previously faced a 1-3 start and no conference wins.

The win follows internal team adjustments, including a players-only meeting and a cell-phone ban implemented by head coach Jay Sawvel. Following this performance, Wyoming is scheduled to play North Dakota State at the Fargo Dome, while their subsequent matchup will be in San Jose.
