Wyoming hosts various festivals and events for the weekend of August 28-30

Wyoming features a variety of local events scheduled for the weekend of August 28-30, 2026.

In Rock Springs, the Sweetwater Summer Send-Off festival takes place Saturday, accompanied by horse racing at Sweetwater Downs on both Saturday and Sunday. Lusk will host a Family Fun Fest at the Niobrara County Fairgrounds on Saturday. Rodeo enthusiasts can attend the Jackson Hole Rodeo on Saturday night or the Cody Nite Rodeo on Sunday.

Cheyenne offers several activities, including the Girls' Day Out at the Cheyenne Depot Museum, BBQ at the Little America Hotel & Resort, and live music at Black Tooth Brewing Company. On Sunday, the Frontier Mall hosts a Makers Market, while Silly Sips features live jazz.

In Casper, the Casper Celtic Irish Fest is scheduled for Saturday, featuring various musical performances. Other Casper events include a concert by The SteelDrivers at The Gaslight Social on Saturday and a final celebration at Riverfront Mini Golf on Sunday.
