Wyoming Running Back Samuel Harris Joins Maxwell Award Watch List

University of Wyoming sophomore running back Samuel “Tote” Harris was added to the 90th Maxwell Award preseason watch list, which recognizes the top player in college football. Harris entered the season as a preseason All‑Mountain West selection, having posted 558 rushing yards on 100 carries (5.6 yards per attempt) and 184 receiving yards on 16 catches last year. Highlights included a career‑high 126 rushing yards against Colorado and a 102‑yard effort on just 12 carries versus Fresno State.

The Maxwell Award watch list features talent from Football Bowl Subdivision programs nationwide, with semifinalists slated for announcement on Nov. 10 and the winner to be revealed in December at the ESPN Home Depot College Football Awards Show.
