Wysowa-Zdrój recognized as cleanest health resort in Lesser Poland
Wysowa-Zdrój has been identified as one of the cleanest health resorts in the Lesser Poland region. According to a 2025 report by the Chief Inspectorate for Environmental Protection (GIOŚ), it was the only monitoring station in the region where the average annual concentration of pollutants did not exceed target levels.
The air quality in Wysowa-Zdrój currently meets both existing standards and the more stringent upcoming European Union air quality directives. This makes the location a notable destination for health-focused tourism and sanatorium stays.
