X1 Energy Drink DOL Super Cup opens with dramatic results

The 2026 X1 Energy Drink Division One League Super Cup opened with high-scoring and competitive matches at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium.

In a Group A encounter, Debibi United and Attram De Visser SC played to a 3-3 draw. Debibi United initially took control, scoring through Ibrahim Alhassan in the 41st minute, followed by an Attram De Visser Jnr equalizer a minute later. After Kwadwo Antwi converted a penalty in the 57th minute and Debibi United added a third shortly after, Attram De Visser staged a late comeback. Thomas Okyere scored in stoppage time (90+2nd minute) to secure a point for the Accra-based side.

In Group B, Nsuopon Fidelity FC secured a 1-0 victory over FC AshantiGold. Following a scoreless first half, Andrews Cobbinah scored the decisive goal in the 82nd minute. Despite late pressure from AshantiGold, Fidelity held on to claim all three points in their opening campaign.
