Xabi Alonso reacts to Chelsea's 1-2 derby loss against Arsenal

Alonso stated that while the loss is painful, it is the team's first defeat since he took charge at the start of the season. He emphasized the need for the squad to become more clinical, balanced, and disciplined, noting that while they played actively and attempted to control possession, they must improve their execution.

Regarding player fitness, Alonso remains optimistic about midfielder Moises Caicedo. Caicedo missed the derby due to injury, and the manager noted that the decision to involve him previously was a matter of risk assessment, expressing hope that the player does not face a long-term absence.
