xAI expands Grok AI with iPhone app and enterprise Team Bots

xAI has expanded the capabilities of its Grok AI assistant through new mobile features and enterprise-focused tools. The Grok iPhone app now integrates a conversational chatbot with real-time web and X search, voice conversations, advanced research, and image and video generation capabilities. The mobile version also supports file analysis for documents, spreadsheets, and code, alongside a Voice Mode and Live Camera functionality for real-time visual assistance.

In the enterprise sector, SpaceXAI has introduced Team Bots, which are designed to function as shared AI teammates within a workforce. Unlike individual chatbots, Team Bots are built around specific roles or workflows, allowing multiple employees to work from a common base of information. These bots utilize context from internal documents, plugins for services like Salesforce and GitHub, credentials for API access, and memories to retain knowledge over time. While the bots are shared across teams, individual user conversations remain private. The feature is compatible with Slack and follows a recent expansion of Grok Bot into Microsoft Teams.
