SpaceXAI launches Grok Bot and Grok 4.6 AI model
SpaceXAI has announced two major developments in its artificial intelligence lineup: the launch of Grok Bot and the release of the Grok 4.6 model.
Grok Bot is an autonomous AI agent service designed to function as a digital teammate. Operating via a cloud-based computer environment, the bots can sign into existing workplace applications, websites, and email inboxes to complete multi-step tasks. Users can assign work using plain English, and the bots can coordinate with one another in group chats to divide responsibilities. The service is designed to learn user workflows and maintain a personal tone, only returning to the user when a task is finished or approval is required. However, the service requires significant access to user credentials and sensitive company data, raising notable security and privacy concerns.
Simultaneously, SpaceXAI released Grok 4.6, a model focused on long-running agentic workflows, coding, and complex knowledge work. The model reportedly matches the performance of OpenAI’s GPT-5.6 Sol on the Artificial Analysis Intelligence Index. Grok 4.6 is available through the company’s API, Cursor, and Grok Build. API pricing is set at $2 per million input tokens and $6 per million output tokens. Additionally, SpaceXAI has partnered with Databricks to integrate Grok models into the Agent Bricks platform for enterprise document intelligence.
