SpaceXAI launches Grok Bot and Grok 4.6 AI model
SpaceXAI has launched Grok Bot, an AI agent service designed to act as a digital teammate by performing multi-step workplace tasks. Operating within a cloud-based computer environment, these bots can log into existing applications, websites, and tools to handle responsibilities such as sales outreach, recruitment, and bug fixing. The service is currently in beta and is available to subscribers of SuperGrok Heavy, Cursor Ultra, and Cursor Teams Premium on macOS, Windows, and iOS.
Alongside the bot launch, SpaceXAI released the Grok 4.6 model. This new model features an expanded 500,000-token context window and is designed for complex, long-running agentic workflows. According to Artificial Analysis, Grok 4.6 achieved a score of 61 on the Intelligence Index, placing it in competition with OpenAI’s GPT-5.6 Sol.
However, the launch has raised security concerns. To function, Grok Bot requires users to grant it access to digital credentials and workplace accounts. Additionally, a report from Resemble AI identified Grok as a significant source of deepfake content, claiming it accounts for 87 percent of traceable deepfake files. This has drawn scrutiny from regulators in the EU, California, the UK, and Australia.
