Xaivian Lee commits to Gonzaga as major transfer portal addition

Xaivian Lee has committed to play for the Gonzaga Bulldogs, joining the program as a key transfer for the 2026-27 season. The guard previously played for Princeton and Florida.

Lee’s move follows a legal development in California regarding player eligibility and transfer rights. A preliminary injunction granted a window for student-athletes to enter the transfer portal, allowing Lee to move from Florida to Gonzaga for his fifth year of collegiate eligibility.

Lee, a 6'3 point guard, brings significant experience to the Gonzaga roster, having appeared in 126 collegiate games. He is expected to fill a vacancy in the shooting guard and point guard positions following the departure of Jack Kayil.
