Xalapa and Aguascalientes advance municipal infrastructure projects

In Xalapa, Veracruz, Mayor Daniela Griego Ceballos has overseen several municipal infrastructure and environmental initiatives. The administration inaugurated a new recreational green area in the Jardines de Bambú residential area and completed the rehabilitation of the Paseo de las Bancas in Macuiltépetl Ecological Park. The park project utilized a circular economy model, installing 24 benches crafted from reclaimed wood from trees that had naturally fallen within the park.

Additionally, Xalapa and the municipality of Emiliano Zapata signed an inter-institutional collaboration agreement regarding water and sanitation. This agreement aims to guarantee water supply, sewage, and wastewater treatment services across specific border zones of both municipalities.

In Aguascalientes, Mayor Leo Montañez supervised the installation of the first metal structure for a new pedestrian bridge on Avenida Aguascalientes Poniente. The project is intended to replace a worn-out structure and improve safety for pedestrians in the area.
