Xamã cancels 2026 concert tour across Brazil

Brazilian rapper Xamã has canceled his ‘Xamã 2026’ tour, which was scheduled to include more than 30 shows across 25 cities. The project was set to officially debut on August 15 in João Pessoa, following an initial performance in Campo Grande, Rio de Janeiro. The tour itinerary included stops in Brasília, Belo Horizonte, and Sorocaba.

In an official statement, the artist's team expressed frustration, noting that while the tour was a dream for the artist and the crew, the decision became necessary due to the ‘need for production reorganization.’ The announcement did not specify whether the issues were technical, financial, or logistical.

Fans who purchased tickets will receive full automatic refunds. For credit card holders, refunds depend on banking institution timelines, while Pix and PicPay users can expect more immediate processing. Despite the cancellation, Xamã remains confirmed to perform at Rock in Rio 2026 on September 6.
