Xavi Grande and Levante UD part ways via mutual contract termination

Levante UD and defender Xavi Grande have reached a mutual agreement to terminate his contract. The 21-year-old, who rose through the club’s youth academy, becomes a free agent and is eligible to sign with a new team even after the summer transfer window has closed.

Grande’s tenure at Levante included a first-team debut in October 2023 and participation in the club’s promotion to the Spanish top flight. Last season, he was loaned to the Portuguese side CS Marítimo, where he made 26 appearances and helped the team secure promotion to the Portuguese top division.

The decision to part ways follows Levante’s strategic focus on Nacho Pérez for the right-back position. Grande, who has also represented Spain at the U-18 and U-19 levels, has been linked to potential moves in Portugal, including Académica Coimbra.
