Xavi Simons reaches training milestone in Tottenham injury recovery
Tottenham Hotspur attacking midfielder Xavi Simons has reached a significant milestone in his recovery from an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) rupture. The 23-year-old, who suffered the injury during a match against Wolves in April, shared footage on social media showing him performing passing and dribbling drills on the training pitch.
While Simons was previously expected to be sidelined until 2027, the video indicates he is progressing well through his rehabilitation. Although he has transitioned from isolated gym work to training on grass, he is currently performing these drills solo, and a return to full team training is still expected to be some time away.
