Xavier Niel's real estate empire valued at over 3 billion euros
On his 59th birthday, telecom entrepreneur and Free founder Xavier Niel has been noted for his extensive real estate collection. According to Le Canard Enchaîné, the value of his property empire is estimated to exceed 3 billion euros.
His portfolio includes significant historical landmarks in Paris, such as the Hôtel Coulanges on Place des Vosges, which he acquired in 2016 for 31.5 million euros. He also owns the Hôtel Lambert on Île Saint-Louis, a 17th-century jewel purchased in 2022 for nearly 200 million euros following extensive restoration work.
Other notable holdings include the Palais Rose in the 16th arrondissement and the former Gulbenkian Foundation headquarters on Avenue d'Iéna. His acquisitions span from Paris to various provinces, reflecting a personal passion for historic architecture and prestigious estates.
