Xbox celebrates 25th anniversary at Tokyo Game Show 2026

At the Tokyo Game Show 2026, Xbox hosted the ‘Xbox FanFest Tokyo’ to celebrate the brand’s 25th anniversary and 20 years of service in Japan. The event featured various attractions, including playable demos for titles such as Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, Minecraft Dungeons II, and Final Fantasy Resonance.

A major highlight was the appearance of legendary game creator Hideo Kojima, who provided updates on his collaboration with Xbox. Kojima confirmed progress on the next-generation action-espionage title PHYSINT, noting that Swedish actor Bill Skarsgård will star in the project alongside Charlee Fraser.
