Xbox celebrates 25th anniversary with exclusive Call of Duty skin

Activision has announced a special pre-order bonus for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Xbox. Players who pre-order the game digitally on Xbox Series X|S will receive the ‘Inner Circuit’ M4 weapon blueprint, featuring a translucent ‘OG Green’ finish inspired by original Xbox hardware.

The translucent design is exclusive to Xbox Series X|S users; players on PC, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch 2 will receive an alternative military-style version of the same blueprint. While the visual appearance differs, Activision confirmed that both versions utilize the same attachments and perform identically in-game, including improvements to precision, handling, and mobility.

Additionally, a new campaign trailer for Modern Warfare 4 is scheduled to debut during the Xbox TGS Live Stream at the Tokyo Game Show on September 17.
