Xbox executive teases Wolfenstein ahead of Tokyo Game Show
Ahead of the Tokyo Game Show, Xbox Chief Strategy Officer Matthew Ball has sparked speculation regarding the Wolfenstein franchise. Ball posted an image on X featuring the Panzerhund, a classic enemy from the series, positioned outside the Bethesda headquarters in Rockville.
This teaser comes as the developer MachineGames has not released a new title since Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. MachineGames CEO Jerk Gustafsson previously indicated the studio’s intention to complete the Wolfenstein trilogy, leading to industry speculation that a new announcement may occur during Microsoft’s upcoming presentations at the event.
