Xbox Games Showcase announces Halo remake and Gears of War E-Day release dates

Xbox Games Showcase Halo: Campaign Evolved Gears of War E-Day 2026 game releases pre-order bonuses

At the Xbox Games Showcase, Microsoft announced release dates for several upcoming titles. The full remake Halo: Campaign Evolved will launch on July 28 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series consoles, adding new missions such as Operation : Meteorite and offering pre‑order bonuses that include a range of armor and weapon skins.

Gears of War : E‑Day was confirmed for October 6, 2026 on PC and Xbox Series X|S, exclusive to those platforms. An open beta will begin in early August for pre‑order customers. The long‑delayed Fable title is now scheduled for February 23, 2027 across PC, PS5 and Xbox, with day‑one inclusion on Xbox Game Pass.

Additional games previewed were Resonance: A Plague Legacy (August 27, 2026), Persona 4 Revival (February 18, 2027) and State of Decay 3, slated for 2027. All titles will be available on Xbox Game Pass at launch where noted.
